So last month I attended the Fashion Fights Cancer event at the Audi forum. A selection of new up incoming designers were able to show their new collections and at the same time helping a cause by raising money for cancer patients and hospitals. Designer such as Tadashi Shoji, Kahri, American Apothecary, Dutchess, Karen Millen and many more participated in the event.

Baltimore Fashion Week!!!

Baltimore Fashion Week is almost here August 19-22!! Baltimore Fashion week had its debut in 2008. It is now the third year and Baltimore Fashion week is becoming more known and acknowledged in the fashion industry. The woman who is the founder/chief executive of BFW is Sharon Nixon. She has done a wonderful job at starting Baltimore's own fashion week and every year production has been better then the last. Diva Davanna

Diva Davanna is another young model well on her way to do great things. She started modeling at the age of 4yrs old. She says "It's a gift from God." She is now known nationally and internationally. She has done shows for The Power of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event in nyc, Little Miss Princess, Fashion On The Hudson NYC, Baltimore fashion week 2009-2010, Brooklyn Fashion Week-end from 2008-2009, Little Rock Fashion Week, and many many more!! She was a guest on The Tyra Banks Show and strutted her stuff on Tyra's runway. Tyra gave Diva Davanna an opportunity to show the girls on Americas Next Top Model cycle 13 how to walk. She has recently been invited as a guest to two tapings of  Bravo's  "The Fashion Show" with host Isaac Mizrahi and Super Model Iman. So look out for Diva Davana!!!

Deja Williams is a 13yr old Model/Actress/Singer and she is well on her way to stardom. !! She has been performing since 8ys old. Born with her fathers talent who is Rahiem, a member of rap legends and Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Group - Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Deja is a versatile artist. 

As a model She has modeled in shows for designers  Lonnie Cisco, John Blassingames,  Timotheous Smart, and the Fabric Twinz. she also is featured in Coogi's on-line store. Déja can be seen sporting a red gown and afro in the March 2010 issues of Hype Hair Magazine and Today's Black Woman

As a vocalist, she began singing in school programs, continued in talent shows, and went on to perform at venues in New York such as Café Wha?; The Village Underground and Broadway Baby She will add Los Angeles and London to her list of performances. She also won 1st place at Apollo's Amateur night May 26, 2010!!

As an actress, Deja had roles in music videos, commercials, and television, most notably working with Alec Baldwin on NBC's 30 Rock. 

Next weekend from August 18th to the 22nd Deja will be rippen the runway at Baltimore Fashion Week.
