SARAFINE, INC

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Sarah Stavrou. She is a talented and creative accessory designer. She creates Eco-friendly jewelry, pillows, and hand bags. Sarah starting out her career as a successful model/actress. She has been on the cover of Essence magazine, campaigns such as Avon, Revlon, and Vogue Patterns. She has also appeared White Men Can’t Jump, Roc, Strictly Business, and Playing God.

February 2000 she started creating pillows as a hobby for family and friends. Her hobby soon began to grow into a business. She is constantly inspired by the 1920's, Victorian, and Renaissance era, she says "It's like buying a piece of history." Most of her accessories are created from vintage fabrics and materials. She has created pieces for Lenny Kravitz, Bobby Shriver, LaTanya and Samuel Jackson, Gina Gershon, Cookie and Magic Johnson, Brooke Burke, Keisha and Forest Whitaker, and many more. Sarah's pieces are one of a kind and each item is unique and cannot be found anywhere else. She has been featured in Vogue, InStyle, Manale, Pillows Magazine, FHM, Pillow Love, Art Walk LA, and Business Journal.
