Guishem Spring 2012 Fashion Show

Guishem is a new designer to NYC Fashion Week. His Spring 2012 was a great success for a first time collection at Lincoln Center. He had gorgeous evening gowns with intricate seam lines, A-symmetrical tops, skirts, dresses, and pants. He showed a variety of pieces with unique prints, and great color combinations. I think his collection has a very edgy futuristic feel to it.

ADAM Spring 2012

This season I was able to attend the Adam Spring 2012 Fashion Show. Every year I fall more in love with Adams clothing. I think the collection was simple but with great detailing. The collection has wonderful prints with woven tops, jackets, skirts, and dresses. The outerwear which is my favorite, brings an edge to the collection. The colors give the pieces a soft feel with neutrals incorporated with pink prints and boldness with pops of red.

So I was able to attend Vivienne Tams Spring 2012 Fashion Show which was beautiful. Her collection showed a variety of bright floral prints, and color; with dresses, tops, tailored jackets, and cropped pants. The collection had a mixture of soft flowing fabrics also incorporated with structured pieces. Sequence and ostrich feathers were added details to bring out the classic silhouettes. I think this collection is classic and chic; and will be a great success for spring 2012. My favorite pieces are the printed jackets!!!
